About Roboflow

Getting a vision model from raw images to production means stitching together labeling, training, hosting and edge deployment tools, which slows teams that are not computer vision specialists.

Who it’s for

  • Engineers adding object detection or segmentation to a product
  • Manufacturing and logistics teams running inspection on cameras and edge devices

When to consider it

Consider Roboflow when you want dataset labeling, model training, hosted inference and on-device deployment (NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, GPU servers) in one workspace, with workflows and an MCP server for coding agents.

Tradeoffs & limitations

  • Usage is billed in credits: the Free Tier includes 10 credits a month and Core is $39 a month for 20 credits; extra credits start at $4 prepaid or $6 on demand. Core is limited to 20 projects.
  • Roboflow-hosted models include a commercial licence, but on Core the commercial licence for self-hosted model weights, the Ultralytics model license, SSO and role-based access are not included; they come with the custom-priced Enterprise plan.
