HoneyHive
An observability and evaluation platform for AI agents that records traces, scores live traffic and runs experiments, built on OpenTelemetry.
About HoneyHive
When an agent misbehaves in production it is hard to see which tool call or prompt step went wrong, or to catch quality regressions before users do.
Who it’s for
- AI engineers debugging and evaluating agents in production
- Platform and risk teams that need shared evaluation standards and audit records
When to consider it
Consider HoneyHive when you want tracing, online evaluations, alerts, datasets and prompt versioning for agents in one place, with Python and TypeScript SDKs, OpenTelemetry ingestion and evaluators managed as code.
Tradeoffs & limitations
- Free Developer plan: 10,000 events a month, up to 5 users, 1 workspace and 30-day data retention; higher limits need the custom-priced Enterprise plan.
- Self-hosted, hybrid and single-tenant deployments, SAML SSO and custom retention are Enterprise only; the free plan runs on multi-tenant SaaS in AWS US-West-2.
